This event welcomed representatives from all four districts within the Annual Conference, gathering a total of 86 young participants.
The training commenced with an opening worship service led by Ms. Jhasmine Bernadette Garcia, LPT, the Christian Education Chairperson of Labney UMC, accompanied by praise and worship from the Labney UMYF. Following this, greetings were shared by representatives from the host church, district, and local officers.
The Labney UMYF also presented welcome performances, and delegates were introduced to the first set of group dynamics activities.
On the second day, Rev. Bernard Paul Ibañez delivered the morning devotion message, followed by a praise and worship moment conducted by the CLPAC-UMYFP Executive Committee, fostering an atmosphere of gratitude and worship.
Mr. Dave Uriel Angelo Rombaoa, the National UMYFP President, delivered an insightful and inspiring discussion on the roles and responsibilities of the Executive Committee and the four working departments, providing delegates with essential knowledge for their leadership journeys.
In the afternoon, a district hour was held, allowing each district youth to learn more about their fellow UMYFs. Delegates were divided into four groups for workshops that honed various skills, including meeting facilitation, activity organization, minute-taking, budget preparation, and much more.
Engr. Dion Rombaoa, the CLPAC-UMYFP Youth Coordinator, shared effective leadership strategies in his talk. The training wrapped up with a prayer led by Rev. Abundio Sabado, West Central Luzon District Superintendent.
