From September 20 to 25, Korean missionaries traveled and visited the Isabela Coastal Mission District, where they were warmly welcomed by the District Superintendent, staff, and parishioners during church visits to share their mission. This five-day trip represented more than just a visit, it was a significant step of faith for the team, who expressed a strong desire to collaborate with ICMD ministries.
Bishop Rodel Acdal encouraged the missionaries to explore joint ministry opportunities with ICMD. They toured all the local churches, mission congregations, and outreach efforts within the district.
Led by Rev. Ptr Kim Kwijung, along with Bro. Jung Doh Kim and Bro. Reymark Tamaray, the mission aimed to conduct research and development for the district. During their visits to various churches, including Dimapula, Dilakit, Dibulos, Dicatian, Sapinit, Dicambangan, Maconacon, Palanan, Didaddungan, and Dicadyuan, they engaged in fellowship with parishioners. This allowed them to hear the voices of the church community and discuss potential ministries that could emerge from this partnership.
With renewed hope and prayers, they look forward to collaborating on building churches, providing scholarship grants for those interested in pastoral studies at John Wesley College in Tuguegarao City, and supporting children’s ministry and workerās allowances.
Rev. Hinivuu Pecaat, District Superintendent, and the ICMD team accompanied the missionaries during their visit.
Let us pray for the success of this partnership.
To God be all the Glory!
