Imbiao United Methodist Church recently commemorated its 87th Church Founding Anniversary with a series of events that underscored the church’s commitment to community service, unity, and appreciation. The anniversary celebrations featured a diverse range of activities, including a Jail Outreach Program, a Color Fun Run, a Medical Mission, a Cultural Night, and a Thanksgiving Service coupled with a Harvest Celebration.

During the anniversary festivities, Imbiao UMC conducted a jail outreach program at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Rizal, Roxas, Isabela. The church extended its gratitude to the involved officers and committees, along with the Acting District Jail Warden, JSINSP. Gladwin A. Pinugu, for their unwavering support.

The Color Fun Run, which took place on April 13, 2024, brought together church members, residents, and visitors for a day filled with fitness, enjoyment, and fellowship. Participants traversed Imbiao Roads while being sprinkled with vibrant colored powders at designated stations, fostering a festive ambiance that encapsulated the joyous occasion.

In a bid to give back to the community, the church orchestrated a highly successful Medical Mission in partnership with the Western Isabela Doctors Society. The mission aimed to deliver essential healthcare services to the community and advocate for overall wellness. The Church expressed its appreciation to the Manuel A Roxas District Hospital, the Inner Wheel Club Isabela, the Soller General Hospital, and the volunteers for their invaluable assistance and dedication.

Moreover, a Cultural Night was arranged as a pivotal part of the anniversary celebration, featuring various presentations from the church’s lay organizations and the active participation of Imbiao Integrated School and Imbiao United Methodist Christian School, Inc. This event highlighted the church’s dedication to fostering unity and celebrating God’s grace, both within and beyond the church community.

The anniversary festivities culminated in a Thanksgiving Service and Harvest Thanksgiving, where the Rev. Hector S. Sadac delivered an inspirational and moving message. The service involved the observance of the Lord’s Table, followed by a joyous lunch fellowship that allowed all church members to express gratitude for the church’s founding and abundant harvest.

Through these events, the Church demonstrated its dedication to serving the community, promoting unity, and expressing gratitude for the blessings it has received. The church looks forward to many more years of faith, love, and service to its members and the broader community.

To our Lord Jesus be all the glory!
