The Northern Philippines Annual Conference (NPAC) Church Workers Convocation took place on March 4-6, 2024, at The Promised Land UMC in Santa Ana, Cagayan, with the theme “Reclaim, Revive, Renew.” Organized by the NPAC Board of Ordained Ministry and the Cabinet, this convocation provided an opportunity for church workers to gather, share, and learn together in a camping-style setting filled with worship, fellowship, learning sessions, and sports activities.

The convocation featured in-depth discussions on critical topics led by the District Superintendents and Clergy leaders in NPAC. Sessions included explorations of General Conference Petitions and Issues, with Rev. DS Florentino C. Mina, Rev. DS Exelsis A. Biteng, Rev. DS Abraham G. Javier, Rev. DS Rhexson C. Puerto, and Rev. Dr. Max Z. Aguinaldo, NPAC Clergy Delegate to the General Conference, who served as resource speakers. Additionally, Rev. Delmar C. Abella, the NPAC Board of Ordained Ministry Chairperson, served as the resource person in the Ministerial Code of Ethics as stipulated in the PCC Division of Ordained Ministry Handbook; while Rev. DS Revie Fajardo and Rev. Chaplain Francis Fajardo served as Retreat Facilitator and Retreat Master, respectively.

These learning opportunities not only broadened perspectives but also strengthened the ministerial foundations of the church workers, equipping them for their sacred duties.

The NPAC Church Workers Convocation proved to be a fruitful and meaningful endeavor, providing an opportunity for church workers to engage, learn, and revitalize. With relevant and timely topics discussed including an environment of fellowship, the convocation concluded with reflections on the enriching experience among NPAC Church Workers. Such initiatives underscore the commitment of the NPAC Board of Ordained Ministry and the Cabinet to empower and equip Church Workers for their vital roles in spreading the Good News to all.

To our Lord Jesus be all the glory!
