Eighty UMYFers of CTD – Cluster III emerged for the C3 Fest Series 2: “amPAWer,” held on December 3, 2023, at San Juan de Mata United Methodist Church in San Juan de Mata, Tarlac City.
Resonating from the words from Psalm 66:1-2, this festival of talent aimed to showcase the united youths’ talents, fostering their growth in musical, literary, and visual arts as an expression of devotion to God. It sought to mold them, not just as skilled artists but also as servants of God, excelling in their crafts.
In the previous series, C3 Fest Series 1: “Contagious Praise,” the primary focus centered on reviving the essence of talent-sharing among the youth and preparing them for the subsequent series. Workshops dedicated to musical instruments, poetry, and dance served as catalysts, fostering their participation to display their expressions through visual arts contests that nurtured their creativity and devotion.
As Series 2, “amPAWer” unfolded, the focus shifted towards unleashing God-given talents in poetry, music, dance, and singing. Its objective was to create an atmosphere of praise and gratitude for the divine gifts bestowed upon them.
This fellowship event highlighted the Battle of the Bands, Dance Category performances, Spoken Poetry recitals, and the much-awaited awarding ceremony. These activities not only showcased talents but also cultivated an atmosphere filled with collaboration, creativity, and celebration.
The cluster UMYF and officers were grateful for the visit and participation of seven clergies and three deaconesses, which includes the Administrative Pastor of the host Church and Central Tarlac District Superintendent, Rev. Rommel Dela Cruz.
This event wasn’t merely about showcasing talents; it was also a celebration that intertwined faith, creativity, and praise. It resonated with unity and vibrancy, exemplifying the unwavering spirit of Cluster 3 UMYF and the ultimate beauty of youthful talent, all flourishing under divine guidance.
To our Lord Jesus be all the glory!
